1) Lawfully, you have to be mindful in how you make contact. Since you don't have their authorization, and their telephone number may be on the do not phone call list, you can't take advantage of something like voice broadcasting... and also you have to be careful with e-mail.
You may call them one by one, but that's not so useful...
Direct mail is probably safest, but some MLM genealogy leads actually include address data. Many include name, phone number, and e-mail if you're lucky.
2) It requires more skill to hit your objectives with these leads. If you're going to pick up the phone and call them cold, you better understand precisely what you're going to say and be positive in your delivery.
If not--if they smell fear--you'll be eaten alive!
